New England Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo and his opposite number for the Philadelphia Eagles, Nick Sirianni, have discussed staging a joint practice on the Pats' home turf this offseason, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.
The two teams have played just 16 times across the regular season and playoffs. They most recently met last September, with Philly spoiling Tom Brady's jersey retirement and earning a 25-20 victory on the road. The Eagles seem to be in the habit of ruining big moments for Brady.
Reiss reported Mayo "prefers just a single practice, in part to limit fighting that can sometimes become prevalent on a second day.
