Carson Barrett Accepts Walk-On Spot For Purdue Basketball

On Monday evening, Caleb Furst announced his commitment to play for the Boilermakers and was the first pledge for the 2021 class.

Today Matt Painter picked up another commitment, this time was Carson Barrett accepting a Prefered Walk On spot with Purdue to join the 2020 recruiting class of Jaden Ivey, Zach Edey, and Ethan Morton.

Barrett is a 6’5” wing player that played his high school ball for local Lafayette Central Catholic High School just about 4 miles down the road. His father, Dave Barrett, played for Gene Keady from 1987-1991 where he won a Big Ten Championship in 1988 and played on 3 NCAA Tournament teams.
